Not all pet shops are created equal - some have realised no pets in store mean loyal customers follow, while some still have pets in glass boxes and staff who know nothing about the animals they sell.

"Belconnen Discount Pet Centre does sell birds and fish, but no puppies, kittens, rabbits etc. I've been going there for years and they keep a great range of pet products, but more importantly when you go shopping there they ask the 'right' questions whether it's about a dog bed or dog food or a shampoo.
